A unique terroir in the world, in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, at the base of the volcanic mountain of Pico, the vines are planted in rock crevices, next to the sea, where you can hear the “crab singing”, as this is where there is more sun. and hot. A proximity of, sometimes, a few meters that forces the protection of the vineyard, by walls (currais), from the strong and saline winds of the Atlantic. This Arinto from the Indigenous Azores results from spontaneous fermentation from indigenous yeasts, that is, from the place, from the air, from the surrounding environment.
Clean citrus yellow color. Pure mineral aroma, citrus with notes of grapefruit. Tense attack, fresh with a very present minerality and acidity, good persistence and saline notes, iodine, toasted bread.
