From the combination of the best grape varieties, Alicante Bouschet, Touriga Nacional and others, from plots with very low productions, this blog was born in 2013, which aged for fifteen months in new and used French oak barrels. The result of a minimalist intervention in the winery.
Concentrated ruby red color. It comforts from the first moment with its joy, its minerality, its seductive fruit that includes red cherries, currants and plums, accompanied by discreet floral sensations. It is a determined but smooth red, deeply mineral, intense but elegant and fresh, with an endless aftertaste. Winemaking In 2013 we enjoyed long and slow maturations that our vines, from our best plots, took advantage of to provide grapes with an exemplary balance between acidity and tannins. The three grape varieties that once again benefited from the exceptional goodness of nature were Syrah, Alicante Bouschet and Touriga Nacional, providing grapes in a perfect state of ripeness. With such good raw materials, we preferred to work with them little, letting the grapes speak for themselves. Therefore, we did little more than tread our mills by foot, using the region's most traditional methods, followed by aging in new barrels and second-year French oak barrels, allowing the wine to express itself in the most pure.
