A perfect growing season, with a dry September (sunny and moderately warm) which was ideal for maintaining acidity and freshness. Some rains came at the right time and an anticyclone completed a fortuitous set of circumstances that induced widespread botrytization. The grapes showed rare concentration and great purity. This is clearly a reference vintage.
