Ginja Espinheira with Fruit is a traditional Portuguese liqueur that can be drunk in Lisbon and other places such as Óbidos and Alcobaça. Made from alcohol and obtained from the maceration of sour cherry fruit, a fruit very similar to cherry, both in appearance and taste, and which uses only natural products, without any artificial preservatives in its production. This liqueur is a mix of sweet and bitter with a touch of cinnamon. Due to its sweetness, it is very easy to drink. Normally served in small glasses, called shot, it must be drunk at once. You have the option of enjoying it with (with them) or without (without them) the Ginja in the glass.
