The 2001 harvest allowed Domingos Soares Franco to present, as part of his Private Collection, a generous wine produced from the Moscatel grape in its pink version: Moscatel Roxo. It is a very rare grape, which was at risk of extinction. Although it can be considered similar to its white namesake, its appearance is quite different due to its purple color.
