Quinta da Leda 2017 Red, a wine from the mythical Casa Ferreirinha, located in Douro. Represented by Sogrape Vinhos, which was founded in 1942 by Fernando van Zeller Guedes, with the ambition of making Portuguese wines known to the world and a long-term vision based on the quality of the wines to be sold, the importance of brand newness and presentation of its wines. Led today by the third generation of the founding family, Sogrape Vinhos fulfills, more and more faithfully, the objective assumed since its foundation: to be a family-oriented company with an international vocation, focused on the production of quality wines, innovation and development of global Portuguese brands. Sogrape Vinhos has around 830 hectares of vineyards in Portugal. Since 1942, Sogrape Vinhos has been investing in the main Portuguese wine regions and, as expected, the Alentejo region has always aroused the desire to implement a project capable of offering consumers the quality of Alentejo wines. Thus, in 1998, the acquisition of the Herdade do Peso property was completed, which quickly positioned itself in the national market due to its ability to offer different levels of complexity and styles of wines.
