Located in Saint-Émilion, sub-region of Bordeaux, west of France, Château Cheval Blanc, as 1er Grand Cru Classé, is without a doubt an exceptional wine. Its story begins in 1832 with Ducasse, the judge of the city court of Libourne, who purchases a property near the city, acquiring 15 hectares of vineyards from Château Figeac. Among the most acclaimed Saint-Emilion wines in the world - the mythical Château Cheval Blanc has assumed enormous importance over the years.
The dark red color is intense. The nose of Cheval Blanc 2010, deep, typical of a great Cabernet Franc, reveals its complexity with aromas of ripe red fruits, black currant, raspberry, mixed with bergamot zest and fresh verbena. When aired, the floral richness passes: rosebud and violet. On the palate, the attack of this Saint-Emilion is smooth and silky. The fine-grained tannins are already melted into a silky texture. The long finish is extraordinarily fresh. A sign of a very good harvest.
