The wines used to produce Fonseca LBV are chosen from among the best and full-bodied red port wines produced in the 2016 harvest, coming from the Fonseca vineyards and other reputable farms located in the Cima Corgo and Douro Superior areas. These wines age in large wooden barrels (with a capacity of around 27,500 liters) and are bottled after four to six years. Only a limited quantity of this fabulous wine was produced.
