White wine made from Alvarinho grapes exclusively produced in Monção and Melgaço. The vines are over 12 years old and have low production with high levels of acidity and good maturity. It is a wine made the old way with tanning, with more color and more tannins. It intends to fully exploit the potential of the Alvarinho grape variety. Vinification of Vinho Verde Alvarinho Anselmo Mendes Tanning 2021: Partial stemming. Skin maceration followed by fermentation with the skins for a few hours. Fermentation ends in used 400 liter barrels. In the same barrels it undergoes batonnage for 9 months on total lees.
