Originating in Bairrada, between the foothills of Serra do Buçaco and the sea, Giz is born, a wine that uniquely expresses the characteristics of the limestone soils from which it comes. Coming from centuries-old vineyards, from native grape varieties planted in poor and stony soils, the raw material here is scarce, but extremely precious. Produced in total commitment to nature, intervention in the natural process is minimal, both in the vineyard and in the winery. The artisanal vinification was added to rest for 8 months in French oak barrels. In the end we obtain a wine without masks, authentic, structured, elegant and complex, full of individuality and character.
