It should be noted that this new Loureiro monovariety was born as an evolution of the Germinar social project, promoted by Soalheiro in partnership with a professional winegrower and trained social worker who is part of the Producers Club and has its vineyards at the western foot of Monte do Faro in Valença and applies all his knowledge in the vineyard but also in the integration of people with cognitive difficulties in the work of the vineyard in order to promote their self-esteem and professional development. Germinar is made with Loureiro grapes from a vineyard over 30 years old planted at the western foot of Monte de Faro in Valença on the left bank of the river Minho, a territory of choice for the Loureiro grape variety where the Atlantic influence is felt, marking the minerality of the wine and allowing the soft floral aromas of the variety to be revealed.
