Quinta de Pancas Cabernet Sauvignin 2015 - Red is a wine from the Lisbon region, which has a bright red color and clear appearance, its aroma is complex and lively with emphasis on green pepper and cocoa nuances. In the mouth it is voluminous and balanced, confirming the notes of candied pepper and varied herbs. Elegant and with firm tannins promising good bottle potential.
Quinta de Pancas is located 45 km northwest of the city of Lisbon, in the parish of Santo Estevão and Triana, in the so-called “Alto Concelho de Alenquer” next to the place of Pancas.
The lands of Alenquer extend between the Serra de Montejunto and the marshland on the right bank of the Tagus River, unfolding into a landscape of mountains, hills, valleys and plains.
The property has around 50 hectares of vineyards. Currently the red varieties are: Cabernet Sauvignon, Touriga Nacional, Syrah, Merlot, Castelão, Alicante Bouschet, Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca, Petit Verdot and Malbec. As for the white grape varieties we have on the property: Arinto, Chardonnay and Vital.
