Vinho Verde Quintas de Melgaço Alvarinho and Chardonnay 2020 is made exclusively with grapes from the Alvarinho and Chardonnay varieties, two of the noblest white varieties in the world. Vinification: Gentle pressing and decantation for 72 hours at a controlled temperature between 8ºC - 16ºC. Fermentation in used barrels with temperature control between 16ºC - 18ºC. Aging: in French oak barrels for 18 months with regular movement of the lees during the aging months.
