O Principal Grande Reserva 2011 é um blend de Touriga Nacional, Merlot e Cabernet Sauvignon envelhecido 12 meses em barricas de Carvalho francês (40% novas). Clima de influência Atlântica, protegido pelas serras do Caramulo e Buçaco. Vinhas plantadas em suaves colinas, com solos argilo-calcários.
