Melange a 3 conveys the modernity of Carvalhais, a mix of ideas, talent and boldness, which combined three grape varieties - Tinta Roriz, Touriga Nacional and Alfrocheiro - to obtain a modern, irreverent and fun wine. The grapes were harvested by variety and plot, with a rigorous qualitative selection carried out at the time. After soft stalking and pressing, the grapes were transported, by gravity, to small stainless steel vats with temperature control, where they were vinified, grape variety by variety. Alcoholic fermentation took place for around 8 days, at an average temperature of around 27ºC. Good aging potential and, if kept in the best conditions, can show positive developments over the next 10 years.
