Quinta do Vesuvio Capela Port Wine 2017 made with Old Vines with a mix of grape varieties based on 100 years. In the space of ten years, from 2007 to 2017, four Quinta do Vesuvio Capela Vintage Ports were produced, all coinciding with the classic Vintage declarations, to which producers only commit in exceptional years. Mesmerizing aromas: rosemary, eucalyptus and green tea and licorice. In the mouth, the concentration and intensity are incredible, with multiple layers of complexity. There is an intertwining of red and black fruit flavors, cut by expressive tannins that balance the impressive structure. Sousão appears in the spicy notes that highlight the incredible freshness of the wine. The seductive flavor seems endless. A monumentally inspiring wine.
